Avoca Beach/North Avoca, is located between Terrigal and Copacabana towards the southern end of the Central Coast. It is situated on a no through road and the emphasis on this area is relaxation and the beach. As you drive through this quaint seaside village with the Pacific Ocean on one side and architecturally designed residences on the other, sitting majestically in the steep cliff tops, it makes for an impressive picture. There is a beautiful rock pool situated below the surf club at the southern end of the beach. The Pines Charity Surf Classic is held on Avoca Beach annually and attracts world champion surfers. Avoca Lake, located inland behind the beach is a great sheltered swimming spot for young children. At Heazlett Park you will find AquaFun - hires a modern range of human-powered pedal boats, kayaks and surf skis on weekends and during school holidays, September through to April.
